Melody Rhoades Husk was last seen by family and friends the night of November 23, 1979, enjoying time at Hobo's discotheque in Neptune Beach, Florida. Friends reported that they did not notice when she left the establishment just before midnight, they discovered her truck in the parking lot. Melody's skeletonized remains were discovered December 14,1980 about 4 miles from Hobo's, 13 months after she was last seen. Detectives at the time indicated that foul play was suspected. Anyone with information concerning Melody Rhoades Husk's murder is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 255-2626.
